Which quote amounts belong in the calculation?
Use the monthly amount for the selected term, one-time installation, separate period rental, gifts, old cancellation and support.
All fields start blank. Enter 0 only after confirming an item does not apply. Check whether the monthly quote already includes equipment rental so that the same charge is not counted twice.

How are the before-and-after figures derived?
Before gift equals monthly×months plus installation, rental total and old cancellation, minus support; after gift subtracts the cash gift.
This is the guide’s arithmetic worksheet, not a provider’s statutory cancellation formula. Smartchoice warns that the actual discount return depends on subscription conditions and use period; obtain that amount from the contracting provider.
What is the denominator of the gift share?
The cash gift is divided by the entered before-gift burden, with numerator and denominator displayed.
If that denominator is zero or negative, the share is unavailable. A negative after-gift balance is kept as arithmetic with a confirmation warning; it is not advertised as profit or guaranteed payment.
Can the result be read without an external quote?
Yes. Input arithmetic and its limits are shown before the optional external connection.

What does a negative result mean?

Why can the gift ratio be unavailable?
The before-gift denominator is zero or negative.
