What if internet speed is below the minimum?
Use the contract’s measurement conditions and recorded evidence before requesting a speed-related remedy.
A low result needs an explanation of the test conditions and the promise being assessed.

Which minimum-speed promise applies?
Use the current terms for the actual product and the specified measurement procedure.
An advertised maximum, a public average and a contractual minimum describe different things. The older Wiseuser comparison table is dated 2020 and is not reproduced as a current set of thresholds.
Which details should be recorded with a test?
Keep the time, product, test method, connection and provider fault-reference record.
Ask which device and wired or wireless arrangement the provider requires for the contractual test. Preserve results and the technical response without publishing account or address details.
How do outage criteria differ from low speed?
A service-outage duration rule and a contractual minimum-speed provision need separate evidence.
The checked consumer criteria, effective 18 December 2025, list penalty-free cancellation for outages of at least one hour occurring at least three times in a month, or cumulative monthly outages of at least 24 hours, subject to the stated timing and exclusion notes. These are outage criteria, not a rule that one slow speed test qualifies.
What should be requested before ending the service?
Request the provider’s findings, applicable clause and proposed settlement in writing.
The bundle criteria also refer to termination grounds under contractual minimum-speed guarantees and distinguish mobile contracts. Retain the response and use an official consumer or telecommunications dispute route if the disagreement remains.
What else do people ask about Korea internet minimum speed?
Does one slow Wi-Fi result establish a remedy?
Match the evidence to the contract’s test procedure and the applicable facts.
Is an advertised maximum the minimum guarantee?
Read the product’s separate minimum-speed clause and test conditions.
Can an older speed table define current thresholds?
Current product thresholds must come from the applicable terms; the dated public table is not used as a current threshold list.
Is an outage the same as a slow test?
Record service interruption and measured speed as separate issues.
What should accompany a disputed decision?
Keep the contract, measurement record, fault references and provider response.
Where do these numbers come from?
- Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards 2025-14, annex 2 Effective 18 December 2025. Official annex PDF pages 42–43 inspected. A dispute-resolution reference is not an individual waiver decision.
- Broadband use guidance The page shows 2020/2019 table references. Historical numeric thresholds are not substituted for the current 2025 dispute standards.
- Broadband cancellation checks Guidance checked 24 October 2026; request receipt, equipment return and the final bill remain distinct confirmations.
